After 65 Years, a Fallen Soldier Finally Comes Home on 'The Lost Valentine' (VIDEO)

Betty White, 'The Lost Valentine'Every Valentine's Day for 65 years, Caroline Thomas could be found at the train station where she bid her husband good-bye. He was off to war, while she was pregnant with a child he would never meet.

'The Lost Valentine' (Sun., 9PM on CBS) is a Hallmark Hall of Fame film where Caroline's story touches the heart of another woman, Susan Allison.

The film featured Betty White as Caroline and Jennifer Love Hewitt as Susan, the reporter who wanted to write about this woman's annual visits to the train station. However, once she was involved she began to to work vigorously on Caroline's behalf with the US Government to try and find out what happened to her husband, who was declared MIA during World War II.

Susan's efforts finally paid off, and Caroline learned of the heroism and sacrifice of her husband. And, in a moving tribute, his remains were recovered and brought home, so he could finally be buried on his native soil.

Betty White should earn an award for that performance. She is unique ! There should be more TV movies like that and more variety shows like years ago. (Dean Martin etc.) Too much violence on TV these days.........and way too many commercials..........it's ridiculous to pay to watch commercials !
