After Julianna Margulies Praised Her Husband at the SAG Awards, He Got Teased by the Stars (VIDEO)

When Julianna Margulies took home the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her work on 'The Good Wife,' she heaped praise on her husband, among others, in her heartfelt acceptance speech.

"Thank you to my in-laws," she said to laughter. "Thank you for producing the most spectacular human being who I get to call my husband. Life is just better with you in it."

Margulies revealed on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (Weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC) the immediate aftermath of her words. Her husband, who isn't in the entertainment business, was ribbed by various celebrities after she made her way back to the table.

Alec Baldwin said to him, "You better buy her a really big trinket tomorrow."

Warren Beatty, who was also seated nearby, said, "You're the man? Hope you live up to that."

It was all in good-hearted fun, of course, but Margulies's poor husband was tongue-tied by all the praise. Margulies revealed that he is, in fact, a lawyer.

"He's gonna sue them?" Jimmy Kimmel quipped. "He should. I wouldn't blame him if he did."
