'The Office' Hunts for Two New Cast Members

by Jean Bentley, posted Feb 1st 2011 2:20PM
The Office'The Office' is adding two more employees to the Dunder Mifflin staff, according to Entertainment Weekly.

The casting notice mentions a woman who is "Scranton hot," and is hired as an assistant for Jenna Fischer's office manager Pam. She's "pleasant and smart" and used to work at a retirement home, EW reports.

The other role is a "good-looking, but not WB looking" guy who's hired in the accounting department after his first job hunt. According to EW, he "used to work at a golf course, probably went a community college and is just happy to have a real job in this tough market." Sounds like a combination of Ryan and Andy, right?

Of course, as far as we know they're still hunting for that elusive Steve Carrell / Michael Scott replacement, so the new employees could eventually take very different forms depending on chemistry and story line changes. The show is also looking for a woman to play Stanley's daughter in what could become a series regular role.

Tell us: Do you have any casting suggestions for these roles?

I've said many times, Todd Packer should take Michael Scott's place.
