Whoopi Says Malawi's Anti-Flatulence Law Stinks on 'The View' (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Feb 1st 2011 1:15PM
Whoopi Goldberg reacts to an anti-flatulence law being considered by the nation of Malawi on 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated). The law has been proposed to the Parliament of Malawi and would make passing gas a punishable offense.

"I don't think my future travel plans will include the African nation of Malawi," said Goldberg, adding that, when it comes to flatulence, "sometimes there's more room out than in."

If the law were to pass, Goldberg wonders what would prevent gassy individuals from blaming their farts on others. To prevent this, she suggests a slight amendment to the law, namely, "he who smelt it, dealt it."
