Anderson Cooper Attacked in Egypt, Stephen Tobolowsky to Guest on 'Community' and More TV News

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cooper was punched in the head 10 times as a pro-Mubarak mob surrounded the CNN reporter and his film crew.

Cooper and his crew escaped to a nearby roof and nobody was seriously injured.

Lifetime has found its Kate Middleton for 'William and Kate.' British actress Camilla Luddington will play Middleton in the Lifetime TV movie about the royal wedding and the Prince's romance. [Deadline Hollywood]

NBC has added pilots from Lorne Michaels and Tad Quill to its already full slate. 'Parks and Recreation' producer Emily Spivey will executive produce the comedy, about a working mom, with Michaels. The pilot is cast-contingent. Quill's comedy follows a recently divorced mom who tries not to fall for her contractor. [The Wrap]
