Helena Bonham Carter Explains Her Separate Home from Partner Tim Burton (VIDEO)

by Aimee Deeken, posted Feb 2nd 2011 5:05AM
Helena Bonham Carter Talks Tim Burton on 'Tonight'Helena Bonham Carter and partner Tim Burton live in separate houses but are still very much a couple, she attempted to explain to a bemused Jay Leno on 'The Tonight Show' (weeknights, 11:35PM ET on NBC). "We do visit each other," she quipped.

He asked whether they slept in separate bedrooms in those respective homes. Well, they have two children together, so obviously not all the time. But "he snores and I ... talk in my sleep," Carter said. Leno asked if her sleep-talking made any sense. "Apparently ... I use long words. He has a dictionary by his bed," she joked.

there are many more couples who are finding this type of living arrangement better for their relationship as well as better for themselves.

Nothing wrong with that, My Girl friend and I have lived in seperate homes for years, and we feel it makes us stronger. We both need our own space, and it is a perfect arrangement.
