Josh Brolin Rips on Matt Damon Like He Did While Filming 'True Grit' (VIDEO)

Josh Brolin Teases Matt Damon on 'Kimmel'Jimmy Kimmel really enjoyed 'True Grit.' "Hailee Steinfeld is terrific in the movie. Jeff Bridges, unbelievable. Matt Damon was alright," he joked to their costar Josh Brolin on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC).

Brolin went along, saying, "I understand why he didn't get nominated, but that's alright." He then recounted how he would mercilessly tease Damon as he got into character before each scene.

The host continued, "Now, Matt Damon -- he was the original guy they picked? Or I would imagine they probably went through six or seven people." Brolin quipped, "Oh for sure, they went through thousands ... He's gonna be so frickin' pissed right now," laughed the actor.

jorgemgarcia your a jackass opinions aren't wrong DUH that's why they are called opinionsand if opinions were right or wrong what makes you think your opinion is right ...what are you a democrat ? Even though he turns on part of the male and more of the female population doesn't make him a good actor just a box office draw . As far as being likeable and a class act my cousin grew up with him and says he's a creep and a dick . I personaly think he stinks as an actor , so I'll agree with theonlygman for calling him a crappy actor . Must be crappy if he stinks HA

Skaarcat... the movie was NOT a comedy. You are the one who didn't get it. "Theonlygman", I respect your wrong opinion about Matt Damon. He's a terrific actor with a great body of fine work. Talented, extremely likeable, a class act and a box office draw.

The movie was hilarious. I loved Matt Damon's character, especially with that lisp at the end! And his final speech with the sun behind him?! I was rolling on the floor. I have to see it again, it was that funny. Though I have to admit, I think the audience didn't 'get it'. No one else seemed to be laughing. Maybe they didn't realize it was a comedy? Yeah, there were dark parts but on the whole, really funny.

I disagree, the movie, in fact both are must sees. It is a fun to watch movie that is not the original nor tries to be.
