Lots of celebrities get into the cosmetics business, so Kate Walsh isn't doing anything particularly innovative with her new line, called Boyfriend. However, she did get a rather unique endorsement on 'Late Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS).

She had a sample kit for David Letterman, and everything was going smoothly. He asked her about when to use the cream, and whether it was appropriate for after a bath. Before she could finish her explanation/pitch, things went off the rails when Letterman scooped it out with his fingers and put it into his mouth.

Through fits of laughter, and after a second dip, Walsh asserted, "This is not pudding!"

When they switched to the perfume, Letterman got her laughing again when he started spraying it into his mouth as well. "That's a little tart," he assessed. "The other was just right."

Not many cosmetics lines can purport to both smell and taste great. We suggest she use as her new tagline a quote from Letterman after his first taste: "That ain't bad!"
