Family TV Round-Up: Valentine's Day Programming, New 'Yo Gabba Gabba Episodes,' More 'Pokemon' for Cartoon Network and More

ABC will air 'Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown' and 'A Charlie Brown Valentine' on February 11 at 8PM.Welcome to the Family TV Round-Up, a recap of all kid-friendly programming across the television universe. We'll sum up all the news related to children's programming, as well as profile the people and shows that your kids, tweens and teens are talking about.

Being February, it's time for the networks and cable outlets to pull out the Valentine's Day episodes. As usual, there are some classic returns as well new episodes of your kids' favorite series. Here's a quick breakdown of what's being offered for family viewing.
-- ABC will air 'Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown' and 'A Charlie Brown Valentine' on Friday, February 11, at 8PM.

-- The HUB celebrates the holiday with specially-themed episodes of 'Strawberry Shortcake,' 'My Little Pony' and 'Pound Puppies.'

-- PBS Kids celebrates Valentine's Day throughout the entire month with themed episodes of 'The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That,' 'Clifford the Big Red Dog,' 'Wordgirl,' 'Super WHY!,' 'Caillou' and more. The shows can be seen both on local PBS stations as well PBS Kids website.

In other news...

-- Programming reminder: The premiere of 'Power Rangers Samurai' takes place on Monday, Feb. 7, at 8PM on Nickelodeon.

-- More new 'Pokemon' for Cartoon Network starting next week. The animated feature 'Pokemon-Zoroark: Master of Illusions' will debut at 7PM on Feb. 7. Five days later will see the premiere of the new series 'Pokemon: Black and White,' which will have back-to-back showings on Saturday morning starting at 9AM.

-- New episodes of 'Yo Gabba Gabba!' will air on February 7-10 at 1PM. Guest appearances on these episodes include musical group The Killers, Marissa Jaret Winokur and Jack McBrayer of '30 Rock' fame.

-- Production is set to begin on the new series 'Austin & Ally' for Disney Channel. The show revolves around extrovert Austin and introvert Ally who combine their talents to become a popular musical duo. No premiere date for the series has been announced.

-- This month's 'Nick News With Linda Ellerbee' special will focus on Martin Luther King Jr. and Black History Month. 'Beyond I Have a Dream' will focus on Dr. King's messages and what they mean to today's kids. The program will air on Sunday, Feb. 13, at 9PM.
