Oscar-nominee David O. Russell is teaming with 'Friday Night Lights' star Connie Britton for a new female-driven FX drama.

According to TVLine, Russell, director of 'The Fighter,' will create the series with the Emmy-nominated Britton attached to star.

It's too early to reveal other details, but shouldn't "Connie Britton" and "female-driven drama" be enough to get you onboard?
