Connie Britton Heading to FX? Rob Schneider Lands CBS Pilot and More

Oscar-nominee David O. Russell is teaming with 'Friday Night Lights' star Connie Britton for a new female-driven FX drama.According to TVLine, Russell, director of 'The Fighter,' will create the series with the Emmy-nominated Britton attached to star.
It's too early to reveal other details, but shouldn't "Connie Britton" and "female-driven drama" be enough to get you onboard?

• Chris Butler and Ryan Doom have joined the cast of TBS's pilot 'Hound Dogs.' Butler, who recurs on 'The Good Wife,' will play a veteran baseball player whose marriage is falling apart. Doom will play the sex-addict pitcher. [Deadline Hollywood]
• Krysten Ritter will play the eponymous 'Bitch' in ABC's 'Don't Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23.' Ritter will play Chloe, a party girl who is not too kind to her roommate, played by Dreama Walker. [Entertainment Weekly]
