Jana Kramer Debuts Country Single on 'One Tree Hill'

'One Tree Hill' has a history of promoting on-the-rise musical acts, and last night's episode was no exception.

But this time, the up-and-coming singer in question was OTH star Jana Kramer, who announced last week in OK! magazine that she had signed a record deal with Warner Music Nashville. Kramer premiered 'I Won't Give Up,' her first country single, on the show last night.

"It's about never giving up on those that you love," Kramer said in a video on her website. "I wrote this song because I know what it feels like to be on both sides, and I know how it feels to need someone when you're going through a hard time.

Fans of OTH shouldn't worry -- Kramer has no plans to give up acting to work on her music career.

"Jana is so thrilled and deeply honored with her new partnership with Warner Music Nashville," Jana's rep, Janice Lee, said in a statement to OK! last week. "Singing and songwriting have always been her passions, and she is blessed by the opportunity to pursue her love of country music and acting simultaneously."
