Timothy Olyphant Met 'Glee' Creator Ryan Murphy And Wasn't Asked If He Could Sing (VIDEO)

Timothy Olyphant, 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon'Timothy Olyphant had something to get off his chest, and 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' (Weeknights, 12:35AM ET on NBC) was his chosen forum. Apparently, the 'Justified' actor met 'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy at the Super Bowl and was none too pleased with the reception he received.

"He was super nice, and I remember saying nice things to him and not once did he ask me if I knew how to sing," Olyphant said. He went on a rant about how Murphy should have asked him. After all, Olyphant said he liked 'Glee.'

He thinks he should have been asked, even if Murphy was insincere about it. "I was faking it," he admitted. "I haven't even seen the show."

We'd advise Olyphant that such an admission probably isn't helping his chances of a guest appearance on the show, but it doesn't seem that was his point at all.

"I can't sing," he admitted later, but still insisted Murphy should have asked him. "That's what you do in this business!"

While it was all in fun, it was a pretty convincing rant. As Fallon reminded him, Olyphant is an actor. Thus he was able to pretend to be a Gleek, while Murphy couldn't bring himself to fake having an interest in Olyphant being on 'Glee.'
