Will Comeback Kid Stefano Langone Be the Next 'American Idol'? (VIDEO)

by Elizabeth Chan, posted Feb 9th 2011 11:54PM
Stefano Langone had a long road before he landed on the San Francisco audition stage. In 2009, he was in a terrible automobile accident that left him for dead. He was told he would never be the same, yet managed to defy all odds by walking again -- just four months later.

Langone's version of 'Heard It Through the Grapevine' had the judges buzzing that he'd be one to watch in Hollywood.

'American Idol' airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8PM ET on Fox.

Sorry, but since AI is going for the sympathy votes this season, the question has to be asked. Was there alcohol involved in this accident, an was he wearing a seat belt like he was supposed to?

Idol only shows the auditions of the people that they want you to like. They program you to like who the producers like and have already picked to go forward. I know that because I have auditioned and made it to Hollywood. Many great voices go home. Many great auditions never get seen. One of the 15 year olds who made it to Hollywood from Milwaukee was not featured on the show. She is phenomenal. They probably wont show her in Hollywood either. Her name is Hanani Taylor. America would have been in for a real treat but they didn’t show her singing. She auditioned with “I Am Changing.” I saw her audition in the stadium at Milwaukee. No one could believe her big, strong Jennifer Hudson voice. Watch her on YouTube at:
