Adam Sandler got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last week. The comedy actor's films have grossed over $3 billion worldwide. But it was his two young daughters who stole this particular show, as revealed on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' (weeknights, 12AM ET on ABC). The host shared footage of the ceremony. As Sandler thanked his wife's family, his 4-year-old daughter Sadie (standing next to him at the podium) grabbed the mic and announced, "I love my daddy."
Sibling rivalry ensued as 2-year-old Sunny, being held in Sandler's arms, then stretched for the microphone and mumbled, "Uh mo-mmm daddy." Sandler chuckled and continued thanking relatives, only to have Sadie monopolize the sound system again and repeat, "I love my daddy."
According to Sandler, Sadie continued the act but threw in an "I love my mama" at the end. Though the audience took that as a shout-out to Sandler's wife Jackie, the actor joked that surely it was "a tribute to Bobby Boucher and 'The Waterboy.'"
