James Blunt Talks Lies on Twitter and Being Gay (or Not) on 'Chelsea Lately' (VIDEO)

James Blunt must be a fun interview. Perhaps not a very productive interview, but still fun. He talked about his chronic lying on Twitter to his followers when on 'Chelsea Lately' (Weeknights, 11PM ET on E!), and even carried some of it over onto the show. Or did he?

If someone is admitting to you that they love lying all the time, then how do you know what to believe?

He talked about when he came out as gay on Twitter, "which was not a lie." But then he said, "It was a lie. It was a lie."

Then he said, "I went to boarding school where I had a lot of men together for ten years of my life, and then I joined army to be with other men, too."

And finally, "It wasn't my choice. I dropped the soap. It just happened."

Chelsea Handler just laughed and looked confused. At one point, she asked, "Is that a lie, or is that true?"

What do you do as an interviewer when your subject clearly enjoys making things up to get a reaction out of people, and freely admits to doing so. Just let him ramble on and try and sort out the details later.

We think it's time for James Blunt write his autobiography. Then we can watch as bookstores try to figure out if it should be shelved in the non-fiction or fiction section.
