'Toddlers & Tiaras': A Pageant Mom Is Shocked by the Cost Involved (VIDEO)

Shocked Pageant Mom on 'Toddlers & Tiaras'"Miss Angela" is Tiffany's coach for the beauty pageant on 'Toddlers & Tiaras' (Wed., 10PM ET on TLC). Though Tiffany is no toddler, "she is a newbie," says Miss Angela. "[For] a lot of parents [doing] their first pageant, they sort of will be blown away. They don't really realize what it's all about."

Nor how much it costs. Tiffany is shown prancing around and not taking practice with her coach very seriously. "I really don't wanta walk away with a small title after paying so much for this," says her mother Cynthia. "I'd rather we quit doing pageants if it gets to a place where she don't do very well."

would rather put my little girl in girl scouts (if i had a girl ) and build her self esteem and hopefully prepare her to live in the world not the beauty pageant world..but thats my choice

Any parent who puts their little girl in this sort of thing deserves what they get. It is absolutely stupid to start their little children in this type of competition. Children need to be children. These parents want to make money out of their children and also to try desperately to make themselves look good. so many times the little girls have to dress in outfits which make them look like tarts instead of cute little girls. Pathetic!
