On 'Good Morning America' (weekdays, 7AM ET on ABC), Jack Black gives an interview from Zoo Atlanta, where he participated in a naming ceremony for a three-month-old giant panda cub. The ten-pound animal is now called Po, after Black's character in 'Kung Fu Panda: The Kaboom of Doom.'Black jokes that he's visiting the zoo in order to research his role in the upcoming animated sequel. "I'm just here doing a little research. I'm a method actor and I like to spend time with pandas when I'm getting ready to portray one," he said.
And despite the cub's cuddly appearance, Black says it's anything but. "It's an incredible little creature, not as soft as you would think," he said. "I thought he'd be really silky smooth, but it's actually thick, coarse, powerful hairs. Fur? Hair? Whatever."
