'American Idol' Minors in Major Stage Moms (VIDEO)
After opening up this season to 15-year-olds, the group auditions in Hollywood have more than just contestants ... they have their moms too!
A group of 15- and 16-year-olds found a great name for themselves. "The Minors" are getting ready for their turn on the 'Idol' stage, but not without some tutelage from their show moms. This was certainly not received well by another group who also sang Queen's 'Somebody to Love.'
The Minor's got to make major moves into the competition. And it goes to show, family support and youth are an unstoppable formula in the music industry. (The Jacksons anyone?)
'American Idol' airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8PM ET on Fox.
