As the one-year anniversary of Corey Haim's death approaches, the actor's mother, Judy, remembers her son on 'Good Morning America' (weekdays, 7AM ET on ABC),

"I just want to honor his memory ... It's extremely hard to even believe that he's not here," said Judy, pointing out that her son's death from complications due to pneumonia occurred nearly one year ago on March 10.

Judy said she received many condolences from fans after her son's passing, and it was only recently that she could bring herself to read them. "The letters that I received -- hundreds of them from all over the world -- were so heartbreaking, I couldn't even read them for over six months ... I just recently answered every one of them back and thanked them all. They were true, real fans," she said.
