Iyanla Vanzant and Oprah Rehash Eleven Year Feud (VIDEO)

Jeanette, you are so right! It was almost like "back stab" to meet with Barbara and thos eexecutives. And here's where she shot herself in the foot-- she tells Oprah in the "meeting room" or whatever: "I met with some Executives but she didn't mention WHO". Like what kind of message are you telling Oprah if you don't say: "hey Oprah, you know Barbara and "nem are trying to get me to sell you out". Oprah would have felt the sisterhood and connection and not some bigotted strong arm from Iyanla. Iyanla is covering up the fact that she was trying to be "business and high-minded". She KNEW what she was doing. She felt like she "arrived" and wanted to make demands and Oprah wasn't having it. I was just telling my wife that off-screen, Oprah must have been on her own cloud leaving Iyanla to feel like she felt on the recent interview, "like Oprah only wanted the "material" and not "her"', leaving this notion that Oprah was only about business. THIS is why Iyanla turned around and met with those executives, feeling like "Ooh ok, if Oprah wants to be all about business and perhaps not a friendship, Imma do my business thang too". In the end, Iyanla lost and Oprah walks over all the other small people who may want a "real relationship" with her. OOH WAIT! It just hit me, GAYLE was presumably jealous too! Oprah waited 2 weeks before saying, "sorry you can leave". You know she talks to Gayle about EVERYTHING! But if you go to Oprah.com/videos and search Iyanla, you'll see a clip where she says, "two of the biggest names in television wanted her and it was "brain fry". In other words, she didn't know how to handle herself, which is a contradiction to her spiritual message, because she should have sought the council of God before doing anything. BUT then Oprah said, "you came to us after you had fasted and prayed for 8 days (really 7) and said that this was the annointed time that God had for you". ITs a big mess. I THINK oprah used that opportunity to get rid of her because she was getting LARGE and became jealous of Iyanla. DO THE research correctly, OPRAH reached out to her AFTER she saw an ad for Iyanla's new book.... Iyanla had tried to reach Oprah over the last 11 years but Oprah's cocky and jealous behind didn't respond. What does that say about the bitter taste that was left in Oprah's mouth... Also, Iyanla didn't have to say she was in a less prestigious neighborhood, or a regulr run down house. Really??? You're about spirituality? Remember folks...take the lessons these people provide, but remember, they're business people first and they do not practice what they preach. I love Iylana's personality. But remember, she said her dad was a fast talking con man. That's where Iyanla gets her gift of gab from. I love her, don't get me wrong. She is inspirational for sure..but they are people too. They put their pants on one leg at a time. Expensive pants, but they're pants.

Yeah, but OWN is floundering. Oprah's show may be about peace, love, happiness and favorite things, but she's a business woman. Iyalna and Oprah could use each other. Well, Oprah doesn't need her, but if her net work is floundering....anything good will be good for the net work. and for Iyanla. If Oprah is truly about helping - especially women, she could have seen if Iyanla had her finances set - how to set herself up. Having nothing then having too much is difficult and she could not handle it. Oprah loved the groveling- she ain't no saint. Iyanla messed up too.

Dr, Phil is the lesser of 2 evils. Yes, I know he likes to bash men and make all women victims and it sickens me. However, at least he is an equal opportunity male basher. She should have waited on Oprah. Barbara Walters is a cut throat and she shouldn't have went with her. And I do believe Old Barb solicited her on purpose. She knew what she was doing and Iyanla admitted that she made a mistake. She should have known better to do what she has done. When she confronted Oprah with that "someone bigger than you" is going to help me was a slap in Oprah's face! Oprah gave this woman a foot in the door through by the Oprah Winfrey show and then paid her well; 1.4 Million. What more could she ask for? It takes some time to get a show started and she should have been patient. That was her blessing and break; she screwed her own self.

Iyanla Vanzant now knows that she shot herself in the foot and she made a mistake. She had to admit to "Oprah" that she was blinded by the light and quite simply made a big mistake. Big.

It just so happens that Iyanla reaches out to Oprah a few weeks after she launches her network? Sure. The woman messed up. She thought that Oprah was going back down and give her whatever she wanted but instead Oprah and her people said no and they let her go. Good for them. I don't like Dr. Phil or really Dr. Oz but they are millionaires because of Oprah and do a lot of good. Iyanla messed up and she is crawling back. Hey, if I knew Oprah and felt maybe I could get in her good graces I might too. But the whole interview was B.S. Oprah knows it, she was just placating her.
