I own a home on a small Island around 1,000 people. The only way to get to Lummi Island in Washington state is by a 5 minute ferry ride from the Lummi nation Rez. The Lummi Nation went back on their word and contract and are now giving us 60 days to find a new location to land our Ferry. They say they will chain it up and not allow us to unload there. We are really out of options and the Federal government won't even get involved. Almost all the islanders work on the mainland and our kids 7th grade and up go to school on the mainland. Our Governor will not step up and help because most of her campaign money comes from the casino's that is why she decided not to tax any of the native ran casino's. Our entire community stands to loose everything they own. Banks won't even loan money our homes. Can someone please please find a way to help or atleast make it public and maybe they will change their minds. Thank you for your time. Renee Barry 360 739-5750
