William Shatner and Craig Ferguson Complain About the Lack of Network Promos for Their Shows (VIDEO)

William Shatner, 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson' '$#*! My Dad Says'William Shatner couldn't have found a better personality to commiserate about a lack of promotion for his show than Craig Ferguson. Ferguson has been lamenting the lack of everything to do with money in regards to 'The Late Late Show' (Weeknights, 12:37AM on CBS) for as long as he's been host.

When Shatner asked him if the network promoted his show, Ferguson responded, "No, no! They're not entirely sure I'm on."

Shatner said he felt the same way about '$#*! My Dad Says.' "I watched the Grammys and I'm looking for promos."

Alas, Ferguson said they needed to promote expensive shows like 'Hawaii Five-0.' When Shatner argued that his show was expensive as well, Ferguson responded, "Well, you. You cost a lot of money."

Nevertheless, while it's not doing as well as its nerdy lead-in on Thursday nights, '$#*! My Dad Says' is certainly holding up very well against some very stiff competition.

Maybe the challenge is in the fact that you can't say the name of the show. Shatner went ahead and dropped the s-bomb in talking about it. "You can say 'S***,' right?" he asked innocently, as if he didn't know.

"Not really, no," Ferguson told him. Luckily, thanks to Ferguson's own incessant cursing, 'The Late Late Show' is prepared for such things and was able to censor Shatner without missing a beat. It's a bit more awkward to have to censor a network promo, and 'Bleep My Dad Says' still sounds awkward on the tongue. Still, it's a better name than 'Cougar Town.'

Shatner is a has been alcoholic. He is impressed with his own importance and is a legend in his own mind. He is constantly doing lawyer ads because he needs money. No residuals from star "drek" I guess. Who even knew he had a show on tv.

And your credentials are???? Oh, I don't believe that being a full time resident of your mother's basement, drooling over a computer keyboard beats the worst thing in Shatner's life; troll.

This is one of the best, funniest show's on TV. When it first aired I thought it was doomed. The other actors and actresses were unknown to me and I didn't think they were very good. But they have come a long way in a short time plus Jean Smart joined the cast from Designing Women and then it really took off. I laugh myself silly every week. I have loved Wiliam Shatner since Star Trek and always will. But in this he does his best work ever. And if you like him as an actor try watching him in Shatner's Raw Nerve, where he does interviews with celebs like himself. What a terrific guy. Check out @$*%)#* My Dad Says you will love it I promise.

It's true. Now that I think of it, I can't ever remember seeing a promo for either show. I caught "S***" because it's on after "Big Bang," and now that's one of my favorite hours on TV. I think Craig's show is one of the funniest on TV, but it's on so late I hardly ever get a chance to watch it. Unless I'm up because I'm sick. He makes me feel better. Can't wait for Letterman to retire so they can move the show earlier.

I love Craig Ferguson's show! His interviews are not cut and dried and boring like other talk shows.

Welcome Phyllis

They are to busy promoting CHARLIE SHEEN'S SHOW. I didn't know that Shatner had a show, he is always on one commercial or another at least once a day.
