James Durbin who? Jacob Lusk certainly wasn't intimidated by all the attention Durbin and his range have gotten so far this season on 'American Idol' (Thu., 8PM on FOX). He decided to take his last opportunity in Hollywood Week to show the judges what he was capable.

"He was like, in case you have any doubt," judge Jennifer Lopez said, "Let me just show you something." But Lusk didn't stop there. He showed them absolutely everything he had all wrapped up in 'God Bless the Child.'

It was a stunning performance from a contestant we've barely seen a snippet of thus far this year. He had a brief moment to shine on Group Day, but it was nothing to what he left on the 'Idol' stage here.

'American Idol' airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8PM on FOX.

As Ryan said, "He'd given absolutely everything" in that performance. Reduced to tears and barely able to stand once he left the theater, one things for certain. People are remembering Jacob Lusk now.

We'd recomment having a cot just offstage if he makes it to the live shows, though, so he can collapse on it after performances like that one.
