My 5 year old daughter has chickens. She learns to feed, clean, gather eggs etc. and then sells her fresh eggs for $1 a dozen for her spending money. People always ask me if I get tired of listening to the roosters. I tell them we don't have any roosters. Then how do you get eggs, they ask. I explain it this way. Does a woman need a man around to have her cycle? Why would a chicken be any different with their cycle? A male only serves to fertilize the egg. The egg is coming out regardless of whether it's fertile or not. In a chicken's case, once a day. Think once a month is bad, ladies? Pity the poor chicken.

Regis has never been the brightest bulb in the chandelier. He has, for some reason, gained his popularity through the years with his sarcastic humor, which I don't happen to find appealing.

I watch 'Live With Regis and Kelly' and I couldn't wait to see William H. Macy on this show! But of course to my surprise Regis Philbin never lets me down with getting a huge laugh! Especially when William H. Macy gave Regis a Lesson on How Chickens Lay Eggs and thank you for the VIDEO and seeing it again!
I always love Kelly Ripa for trying to always explain to Regis Philbin understand everything said and giving or repeating to him her lesson on chickens, explaining that rooters aren't needed for egg production. But Philbin always has a hard time buying it and understanding things!
