'Early Show's' Tyler McGill Gets Cameo on 'How I Met Your Mother' (VIDEO)

Tyler McGill -- resident "superfan" and amateur correspondent on 'The Early Show' (weekdays, 7AM ET on CBS) -- added a cameo appearance to his behind-the scenes visit to 'How I Met Your Mother.'

His scene took five takes. "I just had to pretend to be talking to girls [at the bar]. They ignored me -- pretty standard, really," said McGill, perhaps alluding to his success (or lack thereof) with women in real-life.

On the other hand, Josh Radnor got plenty of action, practicing a kissing scene all morning. His costar Alyson Hannigan claimed it was his strategy: "He says, 'You know what, I really need to rehearse this kiss a lot of times.'"
