Bald John Travolta Photo Sets Off Discussion on 'The View'The ladies of 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated), discuss a recent paparazzi photo of John Travolta, in which the balding actor is seen lounging on a beach in Hawaii without his hairpiece.

"Why doesn't [Justin] Bieber donate his bangs to Travolta?" jokes Joy Behar, referring to the teen singer's recent haircut.

But Sherri Shepherd seems to feel some sympathy for Travolta. "A balding man who doesn't have his hairpiece is like a woman going out without her makeup," she said.

Whoopi Goldberg, however, applauds the fact Travolta isn't wearing a toupee in the photo. "He's getting older. He doesn't feel the need to pretend that he's something he's not. God bless John Travolta, child, because if he looks this good, I want to look that good," she said.

Does anyone really care if John Travolta is bald? Does anyone care about Justin Bieber's bangs?
Seriously, why is this show still on the air? I'm sure Whoopi could take her infinite talent somewhere (anywhere) other than this waste of oxygen show.

I guess Joy Behar has nothing better to do than to joke on John Travolta balding (who cares) and Justin Bieber's bangs/haircut (looks good) - is this what she gets paid for? John could have no hair and still look good. Justin is sweet and very talented and John is a phenominal actor, a humble and a kind human being and doesn't deserve jokes of this nature...shame on you Joy and the View producers for allowing this kind of pettiness on the air. I use to be a fan of the View but it has changed throughout the years - to petty, to childish with the bickering back and forth, to political and to boring.

This is what makes "The View" and "Talk" so relevant - spending time talking about someone's hair!
These women need to find something to do OTHER than talk. The total substance of their show wouldn't fill a thimble.
