Jessica Hahn and Barbara Walters Spar Over Affairs on 'The View' (VIDEO)

Jessica Hahn and Barbara Walters Spar Over Affairs on 'The View'On 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated), Jessica Hahn brings up Barbara Walters' affair in the 1970s with married Senator Edward Brooke as a way to contrast her sexual relationship with televangelist Jim Bakker, which Hahn says was rape. But this prompts a strong reaction from Walters, who immediately shuts her down.

Hahn takes exception to Sherri Shepherd's description of her relationship with Bakker as an "affair," and tries to point out how different it was from Walters' dalliance with Brooke. "This wasn't an affair ... I don't want to be cruel or anything, but ... you had an affair with a senator and ... " Hahn started to say to Walters.

"This is about you, my dear," said Walters, cutting her off. "This is not about me. I'm very happy to talk about my relationships, but this is about you."

Thats funny. Barbara if you going to be on someone because of an affair then you should not avoid the subject if you are guilty of it. Granted Jessica is a complete loser. Why did you even have her on the show.

How sanctimonious Walters is!! She lost what little respect I had left for her when she disclosed her affair. There are still some moral people who take exception to adulterous behavior.

I lost what little respect I had for Miss Walters the day that she had Bonnie Hunt on the View and disrespected her for no reason. Bonnie, the class act, shrugged it off, but I have never forgotten. Harry Reasoner was correct in not wanting to work with you, Babs. You are a sick self-promoter.
