Canada Launches All-Chicken Channel Next Week -- Seriously

Ever sit in front of your TV and think, Man, I'd love to watch some chicken slowly cook instead of this awesome episode of 'Parks and Recreation'?No? You haven't? Well, in case you have -- and you live in Canada -- you're in luck.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, an all-chicken TV channel is launching on Feb. 28. The Rotisserie Channel will have two rows of chickens roasting in an open-flame oven. Crackling fire sound effects will be peppered throughout broadcast. Yes, this is real.
So, who can Canadians thank for this? Rogers Cable, which has reportedly teamed up with fast food chain Swiss Chalet to launch the channel as part of a huge product-placement deal.
From yule logs to chickens, what's next? In terms of calming TV channels, why not have one feature live frolicking animals? We'd love to see puppies playing, or perhaps an aquarium.
Wonder what PETA has to say about this.
Sound off: Would you watch Rotisserie Channel?
