Anderson Cooper is a respected journalist who is always quick to report from dangerous trouble spots. He also speaks in an informal, conversational manner that can a bit jarring to hear from a newsman.During Cooper's appearance on the 'The Daily Show' (Weeknights, 11:00PM ET on Comedy Central), Jon Stewart had some fun with Cooper's loose use of language.
"I've been doing war stuff for about 18 years," Cooper explained to Stewart, during a discussion of the current uprisings in the Middle East.
"Do you call it 'war stuff'?" Stewart wondered, causing Cooper to crack up.
"You know, front lines and s**t," Stewart continued to jest.
When Stewart was done with his joking, Cooper was able to immediately stop laughing and return to his explanation about what is going on in the Middle East. So, although he might sometimes sound like a teenager, the dude's always on top of things.
