Melissa and Joan Rivers Finally Make Up on 'Joan Knows Best?' (VIDEO)

Joan Rivers, 'Joan and Melissa: Joan Knows Best'After a huge blowout last week, it was time for amends on 'Joan and Melissa: Joan Knows Best?' (Tue., 9PM ET on WE). Joan Rivers went back to New York as she'd promised and the two didn't talk at all for awhile.

With both of them stubborn-headed, it was going to take one of them willing to make that phone call to get them back on speaking terms. When Melissa Rivers finally took the initiative to call her mother, you could tell both of them were so grateful the silence had been broken.

It started with Melissa asking Joan about her recent visit to Letterman, but that was just hedging arounded what they both wanted. Joan broke down, both women apologized and then Joan finally admitted what they both wanted.

"I just want to come home, Melissa," she said.

"Mom, you've gotta come back," Melissa agreed.

We're sure the show's producers were happy with this turn of events as well. 'Joan Knows Best?' doesn't work as well when the pair are a continent apart. Either that or they would have needed to add a lot more question marks.

I absolutely LOVE this show!! I'm hooked..its the best reality show on TV. Joan is a riot and even though i've never particularly cared for Melissa, i must say she's growing on me. And her son is ADORABLE!

Love Joan...admit it...she is VERY FUNNY!!! So even if was :staged" ,,,many celebs and many shows create
conflicts just to keep the viewer interested. In fact, weathermen do it nitely on the evening news...creating interest by hinting that maybe tomorrow's weather brings more snow..or maybe not...it's part of show business!!!
JOAN even in her 70's is funnier than 99% of any of today's comics...why? She has great intelligence and wit...somthing that today's inarticulate comics ( who constantly use the F word for punctuation after every comment lack) I am never disappointed in Joan Rivers' performances...you can rely on them being entertaining and very funny! You go, girl!

hhirock, it was real dude. It actually is a very good show about mother-daughter relationships. We don't miss it. What I've found is Joan at 77 is still an energizer bunny with her work schedule, and has a real soft side to her that most people don't get to see. This show is very human, funny, and don't miss TV.

Are you idiots really buying this? This whole blow up thing was stagged for ratings. Get real Joan is the star and Melissa is nothing without Joan. This is a TV show folks it is NOT REAL
