We've got good news and bad news. Taking advantage of their trip to Las Vegas on this week's 'American Idol' (Wed., 8PM ET on FOX), everyone's favorite loose cannon, Ashley Sullivan, decided to get hitched the day before her performance on the stage. That's the good news.

"Now if you have cold feet, I don't care," she cooed to her fiancé on the way to the chapel. "You're going through with it, or I'll kill you in your sleep ... my precious." Her future husband wisely didn't say anything at all. He's more than familiar with this ride.

"Actually, we're getting married at the same place that Britney Spears got married," Ashley said excitedly. "She's my hero, so that couldn't be any cooler."

Considering Spears's wedding lasted 55 hours, we're not sure this is the kind of serendipity you want.

As for the bad news, it didn't go so well for the former Ashley Sullivan in her performance. So, while she won't be the next American Idol, she does get to go home with one of the most unique wedding experiences anyone could possibly have.

Sullivan was certainly one of the most memorable contestants of this season's crop, if arguably not one of the most talented. Are you sad to see her go?
