David Arquette and Courteney Cox have had to bear public scrutiny during their separation, and Arquette didn't help himself when he called in to Howard Stern's radio show to make some private details public. Arquette was on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' (weekdays, syndicated) today to talk about the call.

On the call to Stern, Arquette had revealed details about his sex life with Cox, and Winfrey asked what he regretted about that. "That I was drunk, that I wasn't coming from a place of honesty and authenticity," said Arquette.


Arquette said his comments were the result of fear and anger, and said he still loves Cox with all of his heart. He said the main thing he's learned is that he doesn't know anything, and that he's still looking for answers. As for the current state of his relationship with Cox, he said, "We're still working on ourselves."
