Piers Morgan Confronts Larry King Over Critical Remarks (VIDEO)

by Jeremy Taylor, posted Feb 24th 2011 6:30AM
Larry King on 'Piers Morgan Tonight'During a radio interview in England last week, Larry King said that CNN had oversold his successor Piers Morgan by claiming in promos that Morgan was "dangerous," and that this overselling might be part of the reason for Morgan's soft ratings.

King visited the 'Piers Morgan Show' (Weeknights, 9PM ET on CNN) Wednesday, where Morgan confronted him with his critical remarks.

"Now Larry, look, I have spent the last few months saying following you is like following Frank Sinatra," Morgan said. "I couldn't have paid you higher praise, and you go in my backyard and say I'm oversold, un-dangerous ... "

"If you read the full quote I said 'he's fine'," King shot back. Then King wondered, "Were you being facetious when you said 'I'm dangerous?' Was that an attempt at British humor?"

For a little while Morgan kept up the "I'm dangerous" routine, at one point joking that he'd punch King to prove it. Eventually, however, Morgan admitted he was "kidding" about being dangerous.

So, if you haven't tuned in to 'Piers Morgan Tonight' for fear the "danger" might be too much to bear, feel free to.

Larry was so right with his remarks about this guy.
All Piers really talks about is HIMSELF!
The dude is boring!!!
At least Larry stood up for what he said about this guy.
All I can say is...what was CNN thinking when hiring this man!!

Every video on the AOL news page breaks up and I cannot hear any of them. This is ridiculous.
