Rainn Wilson Threatens to Punch David Letterman in the Nose For Calling His Son Wally (VIDEO)

Rainn Wilson, 'Late Show with David Letterman'Parents can be sensitive about their children. They always think theirs are the smartest and most beautiful in the world. Now we know that Rainn Wilson is a little sensitive about his son's name as well, on 'Late Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM ET on CBS).

Upon finding out the boy's name is Walter, Dave asked, "Have you started calling him Wally?"

"How dare you?" Rainn replied indignantly. "Wally! Who calls a Walter a Wally? No, Walt is acceptable."

It was all in jest, of course, but Dave knew how to put Rainn in his place nonetheless.

"This, coming from a guy who's name is 'Rainn'," he said.

Rainn Wilson if he had a brain would know that "WALLY" is in fact a name often used for men named Walter. I had an Uncle named Walter and my "Uncle Wally" was the best there is and everyone who knew him called him WALLY!!!!!!! Rainn with two "n's"................GET OVER YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!

My Dad's name was Walter: I called him dad, his family called him Walt, his Navy buddies called him Phil. As long as you had a smile on your face, you could call him just about anything. NO smile, you better stand by!

God !! I really wish he was serious and this was a real threat that got followed through - if ever there is a person alive today that needs their arzzz beaten to a pulp it's letterman .
