Nathan Fillion Teases the Solution to 'Castle''s Big Freezer Dilemma

'Castle' has kicked up the stakes for our favorite crimefighting duo.In part one of their big two-part story, we were left with a huge cliffhanger ending: Castle and Beckett locked in a walk-in freezer with a dead body, a possible terrorist right outside the door and a dirty bomb ticking down the seconds to explode.
In anticipation of part two, called 'Countdown' (Mon., Feb. 28, 10PM ET on ABC) -- with the previews showing a weakened Castle cradling Beckett (Stana Katic) saying "stay with me," and her giving a weak, breathless reply -- I caught up with star Nathan Fillion to try to get some scoop.
(They were shooting their big soap opera episode at 'All My Children' ... but more on that before the episode airs in late March.)
Fillion wouldn't comment on the episode's resolution or how cuddling for warmth might've sparked something with the will-they/won't-they pair.
All he would share was a very simple possible solution for getting the two out of the cold. And it involves steak.
"Well I have some ideas ... one of them struck me last night while I was defrosting a ribeye," Fillion teased. "Defrost. Just one button away."
Could it be that easy? We'll have to watch and see ... man, I love this show.
Miss Monday's episode? Watch it here to catch up before the cliffhanger gets resolved:
