Despite his Oscar win for Best Adapted Screenplay for 'The Social Network,' Aaron Sorkin isn't necessarily an avid user of Facebook. On 'The Early Show' (weekdays, 7AM ET on CBS), Sorkin said he created a Facebook account for research purposes while working on the movie, but took it down soon afterward."I'd barely heard of Facebook," admitted Sorkin. "I'd heard of it, but I'd heard of it the way I'd heard of a carburetor. You know, I can't pop the hood of my car, point at it and tell you what it does."
"I got a Facebook account while I was working on the movie just so I could understand what the whole thing was about, and then I took it down when I was done writing the movie," he continued. "But, you know, so many people last night [at the Academy Awards] said, 'Be my Facebook friend' that I think I will join just so I can be friends with them."
