'The Bachelor' Spoilers Update: Who Will Brad Womack Choose?

Brad WomackBack in December, TV Squad rounded up a season-long list of possible spoilers for the latest incarnation of 'The Bachelor,' most of which originated from renowned spoiler guru Reality Steve.

In it, we provided speculation on who (if anyone) 'Bachelor' Brad Womack might choose after his second spin of the reality dating roulette. Reality Steve has been reassuring readers of his "100 percent certainty" about the season's outcome and Brad's choice for the past three months, but earlier today, he abruptly changed his mind.

Originally, Reality Steve seemed certain that Chantal O'Brien would be Brad's final choice, and after watching the show this season, we can't deny the obvious chemistry we've witnessed between our "changed man" and the woman who slapped him as soon as she stepped from the limo. It could've been a fairytale for the ages: true love melted the heart of the girl who wanted to smack Brad right in the kisser on behalf of "every woman in America," but alas, it was apparently not to be.

Earlier today, Reality Steve posted a long -- and surprisingly apologetic -- amendment to previous rumors, stating that his sources had given him the wrong information in regards to Chantal, and that Brad's final choice was actually Emily Maynard, the sweet southern belle with a tragic past. Apparently, the pair have been engaged since the final rose ceremony in South Africa.

Here's what Reality Steve predicted in his latest update:

Emily Maynard"In tonight's episode, you will see Brad tell Emily on their overnight date that he's falling in love with her. He hasn't said this to anyone else this season

-Ricki [Emily's daughter] is NOT part of the finale and is not brought to South Africa

-It is a regular final rose ceremony in terms of the presentation. Brad doesn't pull an Ali and let Chantal go early. He makes her do the whole song and dance, says whatever he says, then rejects her."

Is it true? We can't be certain until March 14 when 'The Bachelor' airs its finale, and with all this bait-and-switch, we wouldn't want to place money on either Emily or Chantal. But for a guy who has built his reputation on predicting the outcomes of numerous seasons of 'The Bachelor' and 'The Bachelorette,' it would be very uncharacteristic of Reality Steve to do a complete 180 two weeks before the finale without solid proof. We'll take the news with another grain of salt and wait and see what ends up on the air on March 14.

Ms O'Brien, you'll do just great now that "Mr. Imature" is out of your life and there was a good reason he didn't choose you, he was not meant to be with you, you're the winner here. . . and let's face it folks, Brad's gay and starting to come out of his "pup-tent", pardon the pun ! ! He's not the marring type and he showed it several times with his insecurities during these past bachelor episodes. His choice should have been Chantel, she was perfect for him !!! They looked like they were made for each other and they would have had a fun engagement and a great marriage, raising their children and maturing with each other. The bottom line, which Mr. B will find out is: "First time shame on the situation, second time: 'Shame on You, Brad baby ' " ! ! ! !

Brad is not the marrying type. that is why he choose Emily cuz he knew she was not going to marry him. and he knew Chentel was crazy about him. and she would have tied him down. for what it is worth thoes are my thinkings.

Brad - you blew it. Chantel was the girl that best fit your lifestyle.
This Emily is way to girly girly. It is all an act to be on TV.
You would think that Brad would have figured things out by now. He let his family choose the girl for him.
They aren't the ones to live with this gal.
I think she would always be hard to please and demand more than ANY GUY wants to give a relationship.

Brad made a HUGE mistake. This woman has no intention of sharing her life with him. I think she wanted to be on TV and somehow become famous. I think you could tell that she didn't want picked by the last minute ditch effort to question him on being her daughters father. She was sending all kinds of red flags.
She knew coming into this that Brad would date and get involved with other women during the process. This is just her way of sending more red flags. She does not want to marry Brad. She just wanted her time of glory on the show. Brad, Chantel was THE ONE.............

I AM PULLING FOR BRAD AND EMILY EVEN THOUGH I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE CHANTEL. ANYWAY, WANT BRAD AND EMILY TO BE HAPPY. IT TOOK A LOT OF GUTS TO NOT CHOOSE ANYONE ON THE FIRST SHOW, TO ME THAT IS BEING REAL IF HE DID NOT FEEL ANY THING. I HAVE BEEN IN BRAD'S CORNER HOPING HE WOULD FIND TRUE LOVE. I HAVE SEEN MARRIAGES WORK WITH BIG DIFFERENCES IN AGE. THEY JUST NEED TO CONTINUE TO BE REAL WITH EACH AND THEIR LOVE WILL GROW!

I think Brad should just give up on women entirely. I think what he needs is a man is his life, and I'd be more than happy to treat him like a human being, instead of all these "women" that only want to be with a guy that's nice to look at.

I'm hoping he chooses Emily. She is a sweetie, seems very sincere and is not a drama queen. Chantal would be dragging her wealthy family into every little bicker she and Brad may have, and run home to daddy dearest. During their engagement period Brad and Emily can work out where they'd call home. These days, it's not out of the question to have homes in different places.

I love Emily! Brad is too old for her and way under her class. She is not going to move to Austin- funny he's never asked her if she would..as he did with the last gal who was kicked off the show.

I cant blame Brad for wanting Chantel but true love is much deeper than sex and Emily should be his choice if ht wanta a long blissful marriage.
