On 'The View' (weekdays, syndicated), Matthew Perry of 'Mr. Sunshine' points out why he chose actress Andrea Anders, girlfriend of former 'Friends' co-star Matt LeBlanc, to star on his new show.

"It's just a kind of a small world thing. She just came in and she read better than everybody else. She's beautiful, she's really funny, she knows her way around a joke, and she happens to be with Matt LeBlanc," said Perry.

And, as an added benefit, Perry gets to make out with Anders on the show. In fact, as one of the show's writers, he can put her in any romantic situation he wants. "I do get to kiss her and I write the show," he said. "So, I get to do just about anything I want with her."
