Ginnifer Goodwin to Play Snow White in ABC Pilot

Ginnifer Goodwin to Play Snow White in ABC Pilot'Big Love' star Ginnifer Goodwin has joined the cast of ABC's 'Once Upon a Time.'

The project, from 'Lost' veterans Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, cuts between two parallel worlds -- one where a little boy believes "things aren't what they seem," and a seemingly parallel world with similar characters and where fairy tales are real.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Goodwin, who is coming off five seasons of HBO's 'Big Love,' will play the dual role of Snow White / Sister Mary Margaret Blanchard.

The series follows Anna Swan, a woman whose world is turned upside down when a boy shows up at her door claiming to be her son.

Deadline reports that Lana Parrilla of 'Miami Medical' will play Snow White's enemy, Mayor Regina/Evil Queen.

The part about the fairytale parellel universe part sounds interesting, but the part about the little boy showing up on the doorstep and believing in fairytales sounds GAY! This isn't a show for kids right otherwise ABC put it on your sisternetwork the Disney Channel? ABC is for ADULTS and a little boy in the picture will make it too campy.

If they were doing the actual Disney Snow White story, I think Katy Perry would be perfect, she has the look.
Or possibly Amanda Seyfried, (as a brunette).

Kristen Stewart would make a better Snow White than this girl would, at least Kristen is pretty. This girl doesn't have the look it requires, IMO - she's just not very pretty, she looks too "elfish". Yes, I also think that Katy Perry would makethe perfect Snow White, if she can keep her boobs to herself for 5 minutes, that is...........

I thought Kristin Stewart was a lesbian. I don't think she would make a good Snow White because she would fall in love with the wicked witch that gives her the apple.

After the way the writers played with the viewers on "Lost", I vowed to never watch anything that any of them were involved with. So I am OUT of this new series. Sound dumb anyway

She looks kind of harsh in this photo. More like a pretty witch from some Harry Potter movie than a soft snow white.
Maybe it's just the fashion?.
