Charlie Sheen Winning Update: 'Two and a Half Men' Near Deal to Return, Dr. Drew, Cartoon Specials Planned
Charlie Sheen's media blitz is continuing ... despite the fact he said no more interviews. Anyway, Sheen called in to several media outlets today, including 'Access Hollywood Live' and Philadelphia's 96.5's 'Chio and Shila.'The tiger blood-infused 'Two and a Half Men' star told the radio personalities his show was close to a deal to get back on the air.
"Absolutely the gig's coming back, and I have absolute faith in that. Not hope, because hope is for suckers," the Hollywood Reporter quotes him as saying. "I see us back on the air with a few adjustments, and giving the people not only what they want, but what they deserve, which is loyalty."
"It feels like we're getting close to something," Sheen said. "I don't want to say what. But it just feels like the worm is turning, it feels like all parties myself excluded are finally waking up. It's like some hot springs in Middle Earth are finally ready to explode outward and say, 'Here is it, here it is, embrace this man, embrace this man.'"
Yeah, he dropped a Tolkien reference!
