Kathy Bates Menaces Susan Lucci on 'All My Children' (VIDEO)

Kathy Bates is without a doubt THE best actress for playing the hard case type characters. Her performances are vast. My all time favorite character she has played, was in the TV movie called LATE SHIFT.. the story behind how Jay Leno got the Tonight show. Kathy played the part of Helen Kushnick, Jay's manager at the time. I worked at NBC at the time of this transition actually took place. I saw Helen live an in person. As the producer of the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, she was the scariest person you'd ever want to meet. As well as Kathy played her. I always thought she under played Helen. I think she could have brought it up a couple of notches and STILL not come close to how really scary Helen was. Kathy was nominated for an emmy for that role. I think she should have won. I've seen every episode of Harry's Law so far. I LOVE IT! ! I hope it catches on and stays around for as long as Kathy wants to play the role.
