Darren Criss Says Cutting His 'Big Hair' May Have Helped 'Glee' Audition (VIDEO)

On 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (weekdays, syndicated), Darren Criss says that, after several failed auditions for different characters on 'Glee,' cutting his normally shaggy hair may have helped him land the part of preppy Blaine.

"I have big hair. That's who I really am. This is a lie," said Criss, pointing to his short 'do. "I cut the hair because I really thought it could make a change."

"But why do you think you got the job?" asked Regis Philbin. "You cut your hair. Is that what they wanted?"

"Who knows? It certainly didn't hurt," replied Criss.
