Mike Huckabee made waves last week when he called Natalie Portman out for "boasting" about being pregnant out of wedlock.

Huckabee's criticism didn't sit well with Stephen Colbert, and he explained why on 'The Colbert Report' (Weeknights, 11:30PM ET on Comedy Central.)

"What are you thinking, Governor? Look, I'm no fan of single mothers either, but it's Natalie Portman we're talking about," Colbert said of the 'Star Wars' Episode I, II and III actress. "That kid she's pregnant with, is Luke Skywalker! Think!"

"So logically, if you are against her pregnancy, that means you've aligned yourself politically with Emperor Palpatine," Colbert continued. "You're alienating all of Tatooine. It's a swing planet."

In fact, Colbert was so bothered by Huckabee's diss of Portman (and a couple other things), that he officially put his "friend" on 'The Colbert Report's' "On Notice" board, which also includes such questionable characters as Jane Fonda and grizzly bears.
