Donald Rumsfeld Defends Habit of Working While Standing Up on 'Piers Morgan Tonight' (VIDEO)

Former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld stopped by 'Piers Morgan Tonight' (weekdays, 9PM ET on CNN) Tuesday to promote his new book, 'Known and Unknown.' After he and Morgan finished discussing the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that Rumsfeld oversaw, Morgan confronted Rumsfeld about his habit of working while standing up -- which Morgan classified as "odd." And that's when Rumsfeld started getting a bit defensive.

"That's not odd," Rumsfeld disagreed.

"It's very odd," Morgan shot right back.

"It's not. It's perfectly normal," Rumsfeld insisted, his wide smile masking his exasperation.

"It's not normal," Morgan said, before claiming that he didn't know anybody else "in the history of employment" who worked while standing.

"There's all kinds of Naval officers who do it, they have stand-up desks" Rumsfeld explained. "I didn't invent it. Thomas Jefferson had a stand up desk. It still is in the State Department, you can go see it"

Yeah, but you know what Charlie Sheen said about Thomas Jefferson ...
