'Blue Bloods' star Donnie Wahlberg talks about the significance of his reunion tour with boy band New Kids on the Block on 'Live With Regis and Kelly' (weekdays, syndicated). But, Regis Philbin seems to miss the importance of the event by suggesting a name change for the group that's more befitting their age."The tour was incredible. I mean, all these woman came back after so many years," said Wahlberg. "It was unbelievable. It was a very profound experience for the band."
Wahlberg said he never envisioned returning to music, but found the reunion to be rewarding. "Throughout the years when I started acting, I never thought I would go back to music, ever ... [But] I went through some changes in life and started writing music again and when we got back together, it was very organic," he said, explaining that the reunion was "emotional" for fans and a "powerful" experience for the band.
"Is it a time then, Donnie, to change the name of your group?" asked Philbin. "How about the New Old Guys on the Block?"
