Children of the '90s: 'Clarissa Explains It All,' 'Pete & Pete' and More to Air on TeenNick

All That, NickelodeonBust out your orange soda and touch up your mermaid tattoo, children of the '90s: Nickelodeon has finally gotten hip to the fact that the nostalgia factor of its revered shows of the early-to-mid-'90s has reached critical mass.

In response, TeenNick has announced that it will start airing those beloved series from midnight to 2AM this fall in a new programing block called 'The '90s Are All That,' Entertainment Weekly reports. Hey, cool!

Among the high-quality shows included are 'Clarissa Explains It All,' 'The Adventures of Pete & Pete,' 'All That,' 'Kenan & Kel' and 'The Amanda Show.'

"At the time, we were completely devoted to that audience ages 9, 10 and 11," TeenNick general manager and senior vice president Keith Dawkins told Entertainment Weekly. "It was ground-breaking and for the young viewers, a powerful and pivotal time in their lives. Those kids who are now 22, 23 and 24 want to bring that back."

Dawkins told EW that the network began thinking about re-airing the shows when it realized their immense popularity on social networking sites.

Hum the 'Clarissa' theme (na na nanana) while you share your thoughts on this news below. Warning: You won't be able to get the tune out of your head for days.

Tell us: What other shows would you like to see? 'Hey Dude' and 'Salute Your Shorts,' anyone?

Brandon: Guts, Hidden Temple are on Nick's Gameshow Channel
I agree with Alex Mack, Shelby Woo, Figure It Out, and Allen Strange.

But The Amanda Show? Pretty sure that show wasn't contemporary with All That and Clarissa. I could be wrong, but I remember my little sister watching that one.

I'm so happy to see that Nickelodeon will be bringing back favorites from the '90s! Eventually, I'd like to see some of my other favorites, like "The Secret World Of Alex Mack," "The Mystery Files Of Shelby Woo," "Global Guts," "Figure It Out," "Legends Of The Hidden Temple," and "The Journey Of Allen Strange."

The 90's were Nickelodeons best years. I am glad they are bringing the shows back but it's still sad that they got rid of Nick Studios in Orlando and all they play is anime and silly stuff today.
