There's been a whole industry created on the inability of men and women to communicate. Russell didn't have the problem of being from different planets than his date on 'Rules of Engagement' (Thu., 8:30PM on CBS). It was only different countries. That's not much of a barrier when you aren't looking for much of a commitment.

All he needed to do was corral Timmy into joining him on the date as a translator and they'll be set. What could go wrong?

Well, first you might want to feed your translator. So you can avoid comments like, "I hope she can hear me over the sound of my stomach eating its own lining."

By the time Sophia said, "Si," we all knew what she was saying. The fact that Russell made Timmy follow them home was just to drive the guy crazy.

It did create a pretty funny visual, having Timmy reading a magazine next to the couple on the couch as they make out hot and heavy and she says "Oh si!"

"Oh yes," he translated helpfully, over and over again.
