Julie Benz Gets Supernatural Pilot Role, Richard Hatch Heads to Prison and More TV News
Uh oh. 'No Ordinary Family' star Julie Benz has booked a pilot role. Good for her, but bad for the future of the ABC superhero series. In CBS's untitled medical drama, Benz will play the sister to Patrick Wilson's Michael. The drama follows Michael, a doctor whose life is changed when his ex-wife dies, but she then begins teaching him life lessons from the beyond the grave.
According to Deadline, Benz's character is an unfocused single mom with a heart of gold.
ABC had no comment on the future of 'No Ordinary Family,' but both its stars, Benz and Michael Chiklis, have new pilot roles. The new shows are in second position to their current series, of course.
