Ashley Hebert is the New 'Bachelorette'

Ashley Hebert on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'The new 'Bachelorette' was announced Monday night on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' and it's one other than 'Bachelor' veteran, Ashley Hebert.

The 26-year-old dental student was one of Brad Womack's top picks, and she only narrowly missed out on making it to the finale. Speaking about being picked to be the new 'Bachelorette,' Hebert told People, "I feel like this season taught me so much about myself. ... It primed me for a new relationship. I'm ready to meet 25 new guys. Bring 'em on!"

Production on Season 7 of 'The Bachelorette' is already underway, but Jimmy Kimmel made things all official by swearing-in Hebert on his show. Among the things she's now pledged to do is promising "to use the word 'amazing' between eight and 40 times per show."



Talking to Kimmel about her experiences with Womack, she said "I think it all turned out for the best. When I saw him on that date [with Emily], I could see in his eyes that he was really happy, so it gave me closure."

Hebert also said that her family is very excited for her to embark on this adventure, though she's unsure if her exes are as thrilled: "I haven't talked to them in a long time, so I don't really know."

'The Bachelorette' Season 7 is due to premiere May 23rd on ABC.

Since the admittance that both of them have tempers that flare up, I think they both need to go to counselling for a while, together! Marriage is give and take and they both need to learn how to agree on situations that affect their future. If Emily truly loves Brad, as he does her, then she should be willing to move where his business is located. Personally, I think Chantel O. loved him more than Emily does!!

i think she was in it for the publisly and her and kerry ernhart were never ingaged i think she was a joke and he still thinks they will be together i dont think so i think he should of picked chantel o at least she was serious about him

No way will Emily and Brad make it. Chantal was the real thing. He blew it. And I predict the ratings for the next Bachelorette series with Ashley H. will be worst in the history of the show. I know I won't be the only one not watching.

I don't see them making it . Chantal was more real with her feeling's & about moving ! I think his family had more to do with his dission do to Emily being a mom already , but Chantal had also mentioned how she couldn't weight to start a family with him ! All I can say is good luck to the two of them even though I really don't see it working out due to the fact that Emily is not willing to move !
