'Community' Scoop: Shirley Will Have Her Baby Before End of Season 2

Am I the only one who was starting to think Shirley's 'Community' bun in the oven was really a hysterical pregnancy?Well, I was wrong.
While playing on the 'Community' set last week during the shooting of their big finale episode, star Yvette Nicole Brown let it slip that we'll get to meet Shirley's bundle of joy in this season's penultimate episode (May 5). Which means we'll also get to finally find out who the daddy is.
Last month, when Brown stopped by AOL HQ in New York to chat, she was pretty open about who she wanted Shirley's baby daddy to be.
"I think she's just craving a baby that is 100 percent African-American at this point," Brown laughed -- and that's not just so she'll get more screentime with her on-again TV love Andre, played by Malcolm-Jamal Warner.
Well, it's a little bit because of that, but it's also because Ken Jeong's Señor Chang (a.k.a. Shirley's Halloween zombie hookup) is straight-up insane.
"I don't think Shirley wants a half-crazy baby ... It would take a lot of therapy on Señor Chang's part -- and maybe even Shirley's -- for them to find any way to be together," Brown said.
So 'Community' fans, what say you: Boy or girl? Andre's or Chang's? Either way, how excited are you to see Shirley's bump grow and meet her precious spawn? I, for one, hope they sell Greendale onesies in the campus bookstore ... and I can't wait for the show to be back this week.
